MS Office Activation Issues
Most MS Office 365 actvation issues are associated with an incorrect email account logged into the Office.com portal. Follow the instructions below to signout of all devices and remove all email accounts that are not your abc12345@commonwealthu.edu account.
NOTE: MacBook MS Office 365 installs requires the MacOS BigSur 11 of later. Make sure your MacBook OS is up-to-date.
Login to MS Office 365 Online with your CU email account.
- Once signed in, click on your account name in the lower left - then click View account
- at the bottom of your account section click on Sign out everywhere
- now open the MS Office 365 app you were having authentication issues and sign in with your CU account.
NOTE: while in the MS Office 365 Online (web browsers) make sure you remove all other email accounts (gmail, etc) associated with your MS Office 365.
