ResComp Help Desk
Our ResComp Help Desk locations are for in person student tech services.
For online support fill out a "Support Request" (link above).
We are location on the ground floor of Ben Franklin Hall and on the back side of Luzerne Hall - (back entrance of Luzerne by Soltz Hall - look for the ResComp Help Desk banner on the right side)
Our ResComp Help Desk staffed by student ResComp Techs provide computer and network connectivity troublshooting support for all Bloomsburg University students (at no cost). Our ResComp Technicians can assist with the following:
- MS Office 365 activation issues
- WiFi and network connectivity problems
- System OS updates and system errors
- Installing/configuring campus technology software on computers, phones, etc
- Answering questions regarding Brightspace, Zoom, Office 365, Email, and more
- Removal of adware/spyware and viruses (computer cleanup)
- Troubleshooting hardware related problems (see Note below)
Note: ResComp Help Desk will assist troubleshooting hardware issues on student comuters. However, ResComp is not an authorized repair center for any vendor or manufacturer warranties, therefore, we cannot perform hardware related repairs.
(ResComp Techs are also students, so times and schedules may vary)
